Michael 'Big Lou' Spaccamonti


Louis died on Aug 9, 2016 following a long battle with cancer. Big Lou was born on Jan 30, 1960 in Pueblo, CO to Tony and Margie Spaccamonti. His daughter Ashlynn Was born in 1998. He married Robin Espada Feb 2, 2005. Along with Robin came his beloved step-children Michael(Jamie)& Anthoney Armstrong & Hope Ivey. Louis Grew up in Pueblo and left there at the age of 22 after working for his uncle John at Spaccamonti Excavating learning to run equipment. He worked all over the world first as an Ironworker before finding a career with Bill Lampson at Lampson Crane in Denver in 1991, working his way up from crane operator to rigging supervisor. His leisure time was spent with Robin and friends riding his Harley. He would go riding on Thirsty Thursdays with Friends (brother from another mother) Don (Chris) Murphy, also Cowboy (Mickey) Young, Joe Leonard, Shift Fox, Frankie Sabo and others. Big Lou was a big man with a bigger heart and will be missed by all who knew him.
